Due to some security policy changes from Google, we have restrictions on which third-party apps your Gmail data can be sent to. This is applicable only to consumer Gmail accounts.

What is a consumer Gmail account?

If the email address associated with your connected Gmail account ends with "@gmail.com" or "@googlemail.com" it is a consumer Gmail account.

Who is not affected?

Users who are using their G Suite accounts (Gmail business accounts) to connect any apps.

If you are one, you can continue to send data to all apps without any restrictions.

Which apps can I send data to from Gmail?

If you have a consumer Gmail account, the following are the list of apps approved (by Google) to which you can send data.

  • All Apps by Automate.io
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Contacts
  • Google Drive
  • Google Docs
  • Google Tasks
  • Google Forms
  • Google Hangouts Chat
  • Salesforce
  • Pipedrive

If you have a consumer Gmail account and try to send data to any unapproved apps you would not be able to save or run the bot.
