How to add the Intercom app

When creating the Bot (or in the Apps tab), open the Apps drop-down menu, select “Intercom” under “Add New App” and click on connect to continue.

In the pop-up window, click on connect button to give access for Intercom account with your valid login and password or sign in with Google.

Resolving Authentication Errors

Sometimes you may see authentication errors (screenshot below) when you delete the app/Auth Token related to from your Intercom account. 

You may encounter these errors either while creating the Bot, or enabling the Bot.

To resolve this issue, you will need to re-connect your Intercom app.

 Go to Apps list, and hover on the Intercom app, and click on the icon that says 're-connect the app'

 A new pop-up window opens up, allowing you to re-authorize access to your Intercom account. Finish the authorization and save the app.
